On October 2nd, as a kickoff to the SEIC breakfast series, club co-presidents BJ Michaels and Mauricio Mitidieri shared their combined experience in the power sector to cover the renewables markets globally and in the US.

In the spirit of the series, both covered the overall landscape of the segment, and also talked a little about the technologies - solar, wind, hydro and nuclear - that are currently in the market. The session also included discussion on the potential of energy storage and the demand dynamics in the market, or the infamous duck curve in CA.
