On October 30, 2019, SEIC Vice Presidents Sam Simpson-Dore and Andrew O’Brien led an overview of the power and utilities industry for Club members. The session helped to prepare students for successful interviews for power and utilities specific jobs, highlighting key topics, trends, and players within the sector.

The session involved education on important industry topics, including utility basics (e.g. structure, regulations, and rates), generation sources, and load and dispatch curves. Additionally, the students highlighted current industry trends and recent M&A transactions. We wish everyone the best of luck in all of their interviews!
